FERAL BEATS MY HEART

    FERAL AND ABANDONED CATS

Feral cats are unsocialized outdoor cats that have had limited or no hands on contact with humans. Feral cats are not likely to ever adapt to life indoors. Abandoned cats once lived indoors and had contact with people and are able to be adopted and enjoy a safe life indoors again.

    CAT CARE TIPS

    Set Up Feeding Station

This is a feeding station set up in a shed. The shed door remains slightly open and there is an excape exit in the side of the shed so no cats get trapped inside when another cat enters.

    TNR (trap-neuter-release)

Trap feral and stray cats using humane cat traps which can be found online or at your local feed store. Take to a Spay & Neuter clinic in your area. This helps reduce the feral cat population.

    Provide Shelter

    Provide Shelter

Provide shelter suitable to your weather conditions. During the summer frozen bottles in shady spots become cooling stations for cats. During the winter shelter will provide safety from the cold.
